A police patrol experiences a meeting car driving too fast on Highway 84 in Långhede.

The patrol turns around and initiates a stop attempt on the relevant vehicle, which however refuses to stop and a shorter pursuit is started, which ends on County Road 739.

When the driver, a man in his 20s, is checked, the patrol suspects that the man is under the influence of narcotics. He is taken in for a body search and a house search is also conducted in the man's car.

The man is suspected of drunk driving, minor drug offenses, reckless driving, and failing to stop on a police officer's signal.
