A wild animal accident has occurred on national road 62, Transtrand.

According to reports to SOS Alarm, a driver with three people collided with an elk. The elk is dead and has been removed from the road.

One of the people is reported to have received glass shards in the eye during the incident.

Police are on their way to the scene.
