Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 80 cases related to Södermanland County, for example, drunk driving, wildlife accidents, crime prevention work, intoxication, mental illness and various controls on their own initiative or after alarm from the public.

At 23.30 the police are alerted to a reckless driving on E4, near Påljungshage in Nyköping. A patrol is dispatched and finds the car. The driver, a man in his 70s, is intoxicated. He also lacks a driver's license. He is taken into custody in accordance with the Act on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons (LOB). He is also suspected of drunk driving and unauthorized driving.  

At 01.30 the police are alerted to Mariefred in Strängnäs municipality due to a vandalism. A woman in her 50s is suspected of having smashed a windowpane to a male acquaintance's residence. No one has been injured. The woman is intoxicated and is taken into custody by the police in accordance with the Act on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons (LOB). 

At 04 the police are alerted to central Strängnäs due to a man in his 30s having died. Much suggests that the man fell from a balcony for unknown reasons. 
On the scene, the police begin an investigation into causing another person's death, in order to investigate what happened and clarify the circumstances surrounding the case. 
Next to the scene are three people, aged between 30 and 50, who are arrested. The three arrested have previously had a relationship with the deceased. 
The scene has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
