A traffic accident where a cyclist was hit by a car occurred at the intersection of Fredsgatan/Vasavägen in Katrineholm. The extent of the injuries is unclear but the cyclist is being taken care of by ambulance personnel. The police are also on the scene.

The cyclist, a man in his 80s, is taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car is suspected of not having observed the obligation to yield.
