Police were ordered to state road 83, at Stråtjärna, due to a car colliding with an elk.

The elk died in connection with the collision and a passenger is said to have been injured, but it is unclear if they needed to seek medical care.

A game warden was sent to the scene to deal with the elk and a report of a wild animal accident was filed.
