Under the afternoon, the police stopped and checked a car that was seen swerving over the road just outside Umeå.

The driver, a man in his mid-30s, is suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics. He is apprehended. The suspicion concerns, among other things, drug driving and gross negligence in traffic. He is also suspected of gross unlawful driving and theft as suspected stolen goods are found in the car.  The car is seized according to TBL7§ (traffic crimes law).

After interrogation, the prosecutor will decide whether he should be detained.
