Driving a car with alcohol or drugs in the body is one of the most common causes of serious accidents in traffic. Between June 8 and 14, the police therefore conduct extra sobriety checks.

Here follow the results from some of the morning traffic checks in the region:

On Industrivägen in Kiruna, the drivers blew into the police's sorting instrument with the results: without a remark. However, a fine was issued (fines) due to the fact that a seatbelt was not used during the trip.

All who passed the sobriety check on Dübengatan in Kiruna were without remarks.

All who passed the sobriety check on county road 1628 in Kalix center were without remarks.

On E4 in Hemlunda, Piteå, a fine was issued to a driver who drove against a yellow light.
