June 1, 07.34, Summary of the night, Värmland County

It has been a very chaotic night in Värmland as a whole. In addition to several violent crimes, 14 cases related to intoxication have been handled by the patrols.

Assault, Hagfors
22:33. A 60-year-old man has been arrested and later detained (at 02:37) suspected of having beaten a woman he has a relationship with. The woman was taken away by ambulance for examination of injuries.

Grievous Assault, Karlstad
22:52. An alarm is received about an assault that occurred at a nightclub in Tingvallastaden. A man has received a serious head injury, but was awake and able to talk. He was taken away by ambulance for treatment. Two suspected perpetrators, both 25 years old, fled the scene but were quickly located and arrested on suspicion of grievous assault. Both men are now detained pending a decision from the prosecutor.

Unlawful Entry, Karlstad
23:29. A report is filed about unlawful entry without a known perpetrator after a resident on Kvarnberget discovered a man on his neighbor's balcony. Despite a search of the area, no one has been found.

Assault, Arvika
23:31. A report is filed about an assault after a 55-year-old woman reported that someone had hit her in the center. At present, there is no suspect.

Disturbance, Karlstad
23:46. A group of around 30 young people, many of whom were drunk, disturbed residents on Råtorp, prompting a patrol to be dispatched to the scene. The young people allegedly knocked on doors and made a racket. A report about disturbance is filed without a suspect.

Assault, Arvika
00:03. A 45-year-old man is suspected of several cases of assault after he beat two 30-year-old women and a 25-year-old man at a local in the center. Later, a new call is received about the man assaulting a woman he has a relationship with. He was arrested and later detained during the night on suspicion of several crimes.

Assault, Kristinehamn
00:36. A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault, minor drug offenses, and attempted extortion after being disorderly on a bus. The man was also taken into custody with the support of the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons.

Violent Resistance, Arvika
00:47. A 20-year-old man is suspected of violent resistance after he resisted arrest when he was to be removed from a pub in Hamnen.

Attempted Break-in, Karlstad
02:23. A report is filed about an attempted break-in after a member of the public observed a man trying to enter a building in Tingvallastaden. The area has been searched without result. No signs of a break-in have been found.

Assault, Arvika
02:40. SOS receives a call about an ongoing fight on Högåsen. A 20-year-old man has been beaten by an unknown perpetrator. A report is filed without a known suspect at present.
