It has been a relatively quiet night for the police, without serious incidents or major crimes.
Nedan describes some of the matters that the police handled during the night:
2:28 am A caller contacted the police after observing some people behaving suspiciously near a car in the Sörby area. A police patrol managed to locate the car and stop it, and the driver, a man in his 30s, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and lacked a driver's license. He was taken in for blood testing and questioning and is now suspected of grossly illegal driving and gross drunk driving.
3:14 am In a rental apartment in central western Örebro, a resident was "scared off" by a man who tried to break into his apartment. The police were called, but the thief managed to escape without being caught. There were signs of forced entry on multiple doors in the building. There is no indication that the perpetrator was able to take anything from the scene. A report of attempted theft has been filed.
