The driver refused to stop at first. Shortly after, the driver stopped the car and both the driver and the passenger ran from the scene. The police, however, caught up and were able to apprehend both. The driver is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs and the passenger of narcotics offense.

Both were taken to the police station for blood sampling and further investigation.
