During the night, the police were contacted regarding a woman who could not get down from Kebnekaise on her own due to pain in her legs.

The police officer on duty made a decision to initiate a mountain rescue operation in accordance with the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. Since it was not possible to fly to the location, mountain rescuers were called out. At 06:55 this morning, the mountain rescue service reported that they had picked up the woman and her companions and taken them to the mountain station.
