Yesterday at 6 pm, information arrived about two people being found deceased in a dwelling in a village in Gällivare municipality.

Initially, the circumstances surrounding the two deaths are unclear, so the police are working to clarify them. An investigation initially classified as murder has been initiated so that the police can take the necessary investigative measures.

So far, relatives have been informed, information has been collected, and the police's technicians have inspected the dwelling. A forensic medical examination of the deceased is to be performed. In anticipation of the results of this, there is no more information to provide.
