Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 40 cases in the county. Among other things:

At 00.30, police are alerted to Brandkärr where a assault has occurred in an apartment, where a woman in her 40s has been injured with a blunt object. A man who has a contact ban against the woman is said to have come to the apartment, injured her, and then left the scene.

The woman has no ambulance need and has been able to leave the apartment. Police find the suspect, who is a man in his 50s. He is arrested, suspected of violating contact ban and assault.

At 01.17, police are alerted to Östra Storgatan in Nyköping where a caller sees a ongoing break-in attempt. Three people seem to be trying to get in through a window to a local. Police arrive at the scene and find the three people, who are three men in their 18s. No completed break-in has occurred, and the three men are now suspected of attempted theft through break-in, i.e. break-in attempt.

At 02.30, police are alerted to Nyfors in Eskilstuna where a man in his 60s is said to have been injured with a sharp object. The incident is said to have occurred in an apartment and the man has since left the scene. He is checked by ambulance and has since followed to hospital, but is awake and able to speak. In the affected apartment, a person is found who is arrested and suspected of gross assault. The arrested person is a man in his 20s.
