July 8, 07.48, Summary of the night, Jönköping County

The police regional command center has handled around 70 cases in the county between 22.00-07.00. The events have mainly dealt with routine work, such as filling, mental illness and traffic offenses. An example of a case from the night:

22.15, police are alerted to Ljungarum where there are supposed to be cars driving recklessly. The police arrive at the scene and since the cars are stationary, it cannot be determined that anyone drove recklessly. Four men aged 18 to 20 are present at the scene and all are checked by the police. No one is suspected of a crime. 

23.55, a car is stopped and checked on E4, Österängen, in Jönköping. The driver, a 20-year-old man, appears to be intoxicated and is taken by the police for a blood test. He is then suspected of driving under the influence.
