On Upplandsgatan in Gävle, a police patrol is summoned by the public due to a woman being struck by a vehicle on the road.

The woman, who is in her 30s, is conscious when the police arrive at the scene. She is transported by ambulance to the hospital with unclear injuries.

According to the woman, she was struck by a car while cycling. The car is then said to have left the scene.

The police are filing a report on reckless driving causing bodily harm and illegal departure from the site of a traffic accident.
