Today, information has been received that two teenagers are being treated at a hospital due to suspected poisoning. There is suspicion that they may have ingested something unknown and dangerous after smoking vapes, electronic cigarettes.

The police are making an appeal to children and young people in connection with this to be extremely cautious. We wish that guardians have a dialogue with their children and teenagers to inform them that smoking these electronic cigarettes can be associated with great risks, if it is not safe to know what they contain.

The teenagers' vapes have been seized for examination and the police have initiated an investigation into causing bodily harm. There is no suspect at present.
