Police contacted after a break-in was discovered in a garage in Morkarla in Östhammars municipality.

Two motorcycles were stolen in connection with the break-in.

One of the stolen motorcycles was later found abandoned in a ditch near the crime scene. It has been seized by the police for a technical examination.

The break-in is believed to have occurred at some point during the night before Thursday. The public who have made any observations in the area during the night are urged to contact the police on 114 14.
