The public rings in concerning a man who initially is uncontactable and appears to be not in his right mind.

When the public tries to rouse the man, who is in his mid-30s, he gets up and becomes aggressive. He screams, kicks and fights.

When the patrol arrives at the scene, the man is confrontational and the patrol is forced to use the ECV - the police's electric shock weapon. The man can then be restrained with handcuffs.

Two people are identified as victims and have been struck.

The man is suspected of assault and is taken to the police station for detoxification.
