11:05 Police and rescue services were alerted to national road 31 south of Jönköping in a northerly direction due to a traffic accident. A driver who was being chased from behind drove into another car. One of them ended up in the ditch and the other in the median. Three people were affected, none of whom are initially seriously injured.  

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.

11:54 The road is completely open. The cars have been recovered. A driver is suspected of not stopping at a stop sign. The patrols have left the scene.
