Incidents are reported to the police regarding an assault in Klosterparken in central Enköping and several resources are ordered to the scene.

When the patrol arrives, a person injured, a man in his 35s, is found lying on the ground. The man was then awake and able to speak but with reduced consciousness. An ambulance is called and the man is taken to hospital for further care, unclear injury status.

The man is said to have been hit several times, including in the head.

In connection with the interrogation held with witnesses at the scene, information emerges that another person, a man in his 30s, was subjected to assault when this person tried to intervene in the altercation. The man in his 30s was not in need of care.

Thanks to the public's observations, a person in the vicinity is found and the suspected perpetrator, a man in his 60s, is apprehended and taken to the station for detoxification and then for interrogation.

Two reports are drawn up. One regarding assault and one regarding aggravated assault.
