12:51 Police and rescue services were alerted to Strandvägen in Krokek. A driver had swerved for unclear reasons and then driven into a bridge foundation and overturned. The driver was hanging in the seatbelt but awake and able to speak.

The driver was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital by ambulance.

Circumstances suggest that the police suspect drunken driving and therefore the driver will be subjected to a forensic examination to confirm or clear the driver of the suspicion.

The road is once again passable.
