Kebnekaise, wandering group in need of help.
The group, five people in their upper teenage years, are located outdoors just northwest of Tarfalastugan. Some have been injured and they are reported to be lacking water.
The conditions in the area are assessed to be difficult at the moment. Large parts of the trail are reported to have washed away due to melting ice, the terrain is difficult and the weather is expected to worsen (it is expected to rain large amounts).
The police's on-duty commander makes a decision on rescue service with the support of the LSO, the law on protection against accidents. Mountain rescuers are called out.
The mountain rescuers are transported to the location with the help of a civilian helicopter. The group is picked up and transported to Tarfalastugan.
