A car would be stopped and checked by a police patrol on Amiralsgatan. The driver chose not to stop and a pursuit was initiated where several police cars and a police motorcycle participated. The journey went south on E6 towards Trelleborg and at the height of Maglarp, the police had laid out a spike mat that the car drove over and got a puncture. Two people who were in the car were secured. The driver is a 16-year-old boy and the passenger is a 17-year-old boy. The car belongs to the passenger's one parent and could be returned in connection with the investigation. The driver is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs, minor narcotics offense own use, gross carelessness in traffic, and unauthorized driving. There are no reports of anyone being injured in connection with the incident.
