Police patrol was alerted to the accident site at 21:19 along with an ambulance and rescue services.    

One of the vehicles had for unknown reasons driven in the wrong direction and collided with an oncoming car.   The road has been closed during the rescue work.

The police have initiated an investigation into gross drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic, and causing bodily harm. 

Both vehicles are seized for technical examination and several witness interrogations have been conducted. 

In one of the vehicles, 3 young people aged 20 were traveling and in the other vehicle, a man with his 2 small children (under 5 years old) were traveling.  All parties involved have been taken to hospital.
