At 23:21, the police were alerted to Grums where a break-in alarm was triggered at a Hunting and Fishing store in the Nyängen area.

The thief/thieves who managed to leave the scene before the police and security guards arrived had smashed two windows to the store and from there stole binoculars and other optics of great value.

Cars and people have been checked, but no suspect has been able to be apprehended.

The crime scene has been cordoned off to enable a technical examination to be carried out and an investigation into serious theft has been initiated.
