During the morning, the police were contacted regarding a woman who had injured her foot/leg during her stay in the Arjeplog Mountains and who on her own could not get herself from the location.

The police officer on duty made a decision to initiate a rescue operation in accordance with the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. Mountain rescuers were called out and at 10:53, it was reported that the woman had been left at her car. She could be picked up by helicopter.

The operation was concluded.
