Police receive an alarm about a suspected serious crime in Kungsör. On the scene, the police can confirm that this is true and initiate an investigation. The police have heard witnesses, conducted a technical examination and knocked on doors in the area. 

During the afternoon, a suspect in the case was apprehended in central Arboga. In connection with this, the location of the arrest was cordoned off.

The police do not comment on the classification of the crime at present. The case is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
