The cyclist is awake and able to speak and has pain in one foot. He or she will be examined by ambulance personnel. The police are on the scene.

14:10 The cyclist was taken by ambulance to hospital for care. The driver left the scene first but was brought back by a vigilant witness.

The driver is suspected of fleeing the scene of a traffic accident.
