Car that drove into house facade, Malmborgsgatan
Police were called to Malmborgsgatan after an alarm was raised that a car had driven into a house facade and that two people had been struck in connection with this.
A woman in her 60s who was cycling was struck and was taken to hospital by ambulance with unclear injuries, awake and able to speak.
A man in his 30s who was walking was taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
According to initial reports, the driver, a woman in her 75s, drove out of a parking garage and then for unknown reasons crossed the road and drove into the adjacent building, which was damaged. The speed was not high and there is nothing to suggest that the collision was intentional. The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
Police have interviewed witnesses and will conduct interviews with those directly involved in the traffic accident. The police have filed a report regarding gross negligence in traffic and the car has been seized to enable a technical examination to be carried out. The driver was required to undergo a breath test, which was negative.
