Police patrol decides to check a driver. The driver chooses not to stop at the police officer's signal and a pursuit begins. The police patrol then loses visual contact with the car.

A number of police patrols join the search for the relevant car. Shortly thereafter, a police patrol stops the car on Gottorpsvägen.

Two boys in their 17-year-old age and two girls in their 18-year-old age were traveling in the car. One of the boys is estimated to have been the driver of the car and at the check he blows positively in the police's breathalyzer. He is therefore taken in for further testing and is then handed over to the custodial parent.

The car is towed away from the scene.

The driver is now suspected of, among other things, gross drunk driving, unauthorized driving, and reckless driving.
