Reports are coming in that a man located along Kungsleden has injured his hand and needs to be taken to medical care. The man is accompanied by another person.

The police's on-duty commander decides on a mountain rescue according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. The man and the other person are taken to Abisko by police helicopter. From there, they are to make their own way to medical care.
