Dogs were hot in the car.
A private person calls the police about three dogs that are trapped in a car.
The caller has observed the dogs for a while and now thinks the dogs are panting and appear to be warm.
The police operator calls the car's owner, who immediately goes out to the car to take care of the dogs.
There is no suspicion of a crime, but the caller did the right thing by contacting the police.
If you see a child or an animal in a hot car, do this:
Check if the car door is open
Call 112 if you consider the situation to be urgent, otherwise 114 14
Note the registration number and time
Note how ventilation and air supply are provided
Only in an emergency: Smash the window. If possible, choose a window that is not near the child or animal to avoid glass shards.
