At 23 o'clock, we receive an alarm via SOS. A driver of a passenger car has driven off the road and through a number of gardens to finally collide with a house on Kustvägen in Mellbystrand. The police and ambulance come to the scene. Both are taken to hospital in an ambulance. The driver is later found to have died. Relatives are notified. The driver is likely to have had a heart attack and a passenger in the car has tried to steer away to avoid hitting anyone. No other people have been injured. The police are waiting for a forensic medical examination and are investigating the circumstances further.
