The police regional command center has handled around 80 cases in the county between 22.00-07.00. Among other things:

23.59: Police are called to central Norrköping due to smoke smell. When the police patrol arrives at the scene, remains are seen after a liquid is believed to have been ignited at a residential door. The fire has not spread to the staircase. The police have conducted a crime scene investigation to search for and secure evidence at the scene, and also searched for evidence and perpetrators with a dog patrol. The police have arrested a man in his 40s during the night who is suspected of attempted gross arson. The man was detained by the prosecutor during the night and the investigation is therefore led by the prosecution authority.

At 02.30, police are called to Old Town in Norrköping where two people have been fighting, with one bleeding. The police arrive at the scene and neither of the parties want to participate in an investigation as they claim to be friends. One of the men, in his 20s, is taken into custody according to LOB. The other, in his 18s, is picked up by a family member. The police have filed a report of assault, where the two men are suspected of having assaulted each other.
