23:00 the police are alerted after a man is said to have hit a woman in Brandkärr in Nyköping. The same man is said to have also hit another woman at the scene. What triggered the incident is unknown.  The police arrive at the scene and apprehend the man. He is now suspected of two cases of assault.

02:13 there are reports that two people were assaulted by several perpetrators outdoors at Östra promenaden in Nyköping. The police arrive at the scene and soon make contact with the victims, who are not in need of being taken to the hospital. After this, several police units work to find the perpetrators, who after the incident are said to have disappeared from the scene. Soon, a visual of three people is obtained, all of whom are arrested and suspected of assault. All three are men in their 20s. 

02:21 the police are alerted after the public sees two people in a physical fight outdoors in central Eskilstuna. When the police patrol arrives at the scene and forms an opinion about what happened, suspicions arise against one of the involved, a man in his 20s. He is arrested and suspected of assault of a normal degree. No one has suffered serious injury.
