Police were alerted to a residence in Nybro on the evening before last due to an assault.

A man was apprehended, suspected of assault against a woman who has some form of relationship with him.

The man, who is in his 35-year-old age range, is also suspected of vandalism in connection with the incident.

There is no information about personal injuries.
