Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.40 Drunk driving, Åsele:
Vid stopp and control of a car in Åsele the driver, a man, is suspected to be under the influence of narcotics and is to follow for blood sampling. A report regarding drunk driving and minor narcotics offense (personal use) is drawn up.

On a passenger a small amount of suspected narcotics is found and seized. Also he is suspected to be under the influence and is to undergo blood sampling. A report regarding minor narcotics offense (possession and use) is drawn up.

23.50 Traffic accident, Umeå:
Police patrol East in the city of Umeå notices that a person has fallen with a electric bicycle. The person is taken to hospital by ambulance. There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the incident and the patrol leaves the scene without further action.

Other:
A person has been taken into custody for drunk driving and a person has been taken in for blood sampling after suspicion of narcotics offense.

Police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Thursday evening has been calm at Åsele market but still with a few people out at the bars. Police have, in addition to the market, handled narcotics offenses and drunk driving (see above).
