Police are on the scene and searching for the suspect who left the residence. At present, Hagagatan is cordoned off between Vanadisvägen and Frejgatan. 

The woman is being supervised by medical care and an investigation regarding severe assault is underway.

Police have searched the rooftops in the area as there were suspicions that the man was on a rooftop. The man has however not been found on any rooftop and the work of searching for him continues in other ways. 

A technical examination of the crime scene will be conducted and in anticipation of this, the residence is cordoned off.
