Uproar in Nässjö
22:45 The police were alerted to Hembygdsgatan in Nässjö. A commotion was ongoing with a dozen people present. Several callers reported that people had sticks and rods with them. It is unclear what led to this discord.
As far as the police know, the actual damage was limited to redness and torn clothing. A report of assault and unlawful threats was filed. The police are continuing to work with witness statements to identify the different actors.

Moose accident in Värnamo
22:53 Police and emergency services were alerted to Värnamo northern traffic intersection. A car had collided with a moose. The driver was initially unconscious after the accident and was stuck in the vehicle. He was cut free but was awake and able to speak in the ambulance. He had pain all over his body but was not seriously injured. There was a family member in the car who was not injured. The moose died on the scene.
The police filed a report on a traffic accident with no suspicion of a crime.
