July 15, 07.22, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Here follow a selection of events from last night:

22.10 Break-in, Sundsvall:
Police are ordered to Inner Harbour where an unknown perpetrator/person is alleged to have committed damage to a house window and stolen car keys. After this, the person/persons drove away in a car. The police are conducting an interrogation and drawing up a report regarding theft through break-in and seizure of means of transportation.

23.59 Traffic offense, Kramfors:
Driver on county road 334 receives a fine for disorderly conduct as the car has a driving ban.

01.01 Wildlife accident, Örnsköldsvik:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a transport truck and a deer on county road 1084, Movattnet. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear what happened to the deer and a tracker is called out.

05.21 Attempted break-in, Sundsvall:
Police patrol is ordered to a gas station on Norrmalm where damage has been done to several windows. There are no reports of anything stolen. On the way to the location, the patrol finds a drunk man who is to be interrogated in the matter. He is apprehended according to the Law on the Temporary Care of Intoxicated Persons. A report regarding attempted break-in will be drawn up.

06.09 Traffic offense, Kramfors:
Driver of a vehicle with a trailer on national road 90 receives a fine for disorderly conduct as the trailer has a driving ban.

Other:
A person has been taken in for testing after suspicion of narcotics offense.

The police have also performed a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
