Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.40 Violence against a public official, Skellefteå:
Police are contacted regarding a drunk man at a bar in central Skellefteå. A police patrol is ordered to the scene. The man is apprehended according to the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons. The man is suspected of violence against a public official.

23.48 Wildlife accident, Umeå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a transport truck and an elk on county road 647, southwest of Bodbyn. There are no reports of personal injuries. It is unclear how the elk fared and a tracker is called out.

00.27 Wildlife accident, Nordmaling:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a A-tractor and a roe deer on county road 504 at Fickfjärden/Bäcknäset. No personal injuries are reported. The roe deer died in connection with the accident and a tracker is called out to deal with it.

Other:
Four people, in addition to the above, were taken into custody overnight for intoxication.

Police have also performed several checks on people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
