Police, ambulance and fire department were alerted to Sämsjön in Herrljunga municipality.

A person had gone missing in connection with a swim. The person, an 85-year-old man, was found by the rescue service in the water. Life-saving measures were initiated but the man's life could not be saved. Relatives have been informed.
