Patrols are alerted to the scene after a 90-year-old woman has her necklace torn from her neck. The suspected perpetrator then disappears on a bicycle. 

The police are searching for the person and encounter a suspected man who can also be linked to a theft of an electric scooter from a boy. The man, who is 45 years old, is detained and is suspected of robbery, aggravated theft, trafficking in stolen goods, and narcotics offense own use. 

The woman is taken to hospital for care.
