July 14 07.57, Summary of the night, Östergötland County

Under the night between 21.00 and 07.00, the regional command center of the police has handled a number of 90 events related to Östergötland County. No serious violent crimes have come to the knowledge of the police. 

Assault, Norrköping: At 22.48, the police are alerted to Old Town in Norrköping, where a woman is heard screaming outside. Police and ambulance arrive at the scene. On the scene are two women in their 18-year-olds, and both are reported for assault on the other. One of the women has a nosebleed, but no one has been seriously injured.  

Red-light driving, Norrköping: At 21.30, a patrol sees a car driving against a red light on Stockholmsvägen. The driver, a man in his 30s, receives a fine. The fine amount is 3,000 kronor.

Traffic congestion, E4 Norrköping: At 21.30, the police are alerted to a traffic congestion on E4 near Norsholmsbron in Norrköping Municipality. A car has stopped and the driver appears to be changing a tire, but is difficult to see for other road users. The police therefore position themselves with blue lights on the scene to alert other traffic and prevent accidents.
