22:47, Traffic Accident – Karlstad
Police alerted to state road 63 in Molkom due to a single-vehicle accident involving a moped. The driver, a man in his 40s, is taken to hospital but was reportedly awake and able to speak at the time. Police suspect drunken driving in connection with the incident and have seized the vehicle.  

03:05, Assault – Karlstad 
Reports are received of some form of altercation where someone is believed to be involved in a dwelling in Vålberg. Police and ambulance are alerted to the scene. On the scene, a man in his 60s is found complaining of back pain and is very intoxicated. He is taken to hospital. Another man in his 50s is apprehended in accordance with the LOB and will be heard regarding suspicion of assault when he has sobered up. 

03:20, Fire – Karlstad
Police are alerted regarding a fire in a villa in Vålberg. The house is reportedly completely engulfed in flames but no one was present in the building and there is no information about personal injuries. Police are filing a report regarding gross negligence.
