July 13 08.01, Summary of the night, Östergötland County

Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 about 80 cases in the county. Among other things:

00.30 police are alerted to a traffic accident on county road 919 outside Ödeshög. A tractor has driven off the road, overturned and started burning. In the tractor sat three young people who are all awake and able to be interviewed. All are being checked by the healthcare system. The driver is suspected of causing bodily harm, unauthorized driving and negligence in traffic. The vehicle has been seized for investigation. 

00.50 police are alerted about screams from an apartment in a multi-family house in central Linköping. Patrol arrives at the scene and finds a man and a woman in the apartment as well as several people outside who are being checked. There were reportedly several people in the apartment and a disturbance had occurred. A woman was reportedly trying to leave the apartment but was being held back against her will, and therefore suspicion of unlawful detention arises. The man in the apartment, who is in his 20s, is arrested on suspicion of unlawful detention, possession of narcotics and narcotics offense through personal use. The man was later arrested by the prosecutor during the night and the case is now being led by the prosecution authority.

02.33 SOS is alerted about a fire in a parked car in Hageby in Norrköping. Since there is no apparent reason why the car started burning, the incident is being investigated as vandalism through fire.
