The suspect attempted to steal goods in the store but was prevented by an employee. The man stabbed the employee in the hand and then ran from the scene.

The injured person was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

During the subsequent operation, the man was arrested thanks to good information from witnesses, the police's camera system and previous experience with the man, about an hour after the crime was committed, on another part of Södermalm.
