July 13, 00.36, Traffic accident, Fagersta

The accident occurred at 00:36 on Köpmangatan in Fagersta where a police car collided with a person. 

The person died at the scene. Relatives have been informed. 

An investigation into causing another person's death is underway and the investigation is led by a prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Chamber. The police will not comment further on the matter. 

The police are still working at the scene and due to this, traffic is being diverted via Bergslagsvägen and Kyrkvägen.
