Strömsund, good cooperation with the municipality.
Under the previous evening, the police checked a car at a campsite in Strömsund. The reason was that the car was very noisy and therefore suspicion of engine failure initially arose.
During the check, a large quantity of food items marked as refrigerated goods (360 liters of olives in oil, 28 kg of cheese and 116 kg of pickled olives) were found. The people in the car had been to the market and sold their goods during the day.
Since the goods were not stored in a cool environment, the police contacted the municipality, which sent out personnel who conducted a check. The temperature of the food items was 33.2 degrees at the time of the check. The municipality's personnel confiscated and forfeited the food items because they were stored in a way that was hazardous to health.
The municipality took over the case, and the police left without further action.
