July 12 08.30, Summary of the night, Västerbotten County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.20 Burglary, Skellefteå:
Police patrol is ordered to Skelleftehamn where a e-bike has been stolen from a staircase. Damage has also been made to a basement storage room and goods are missing. This occurred sometime after 15:00 on Saturday. The scene is documented and a report is drawn up.

00.23 Assault, Vännäs:
Police are contacted by a security guard at a hotel that there was a fight in a toilet queue. In connection with this, a man is alleged to have assaulted another man. Police speak with the parties involved and draw up a report regarding assault. No one is detained in the matter.

00.35 Assault, Umeå:
Police patrol is ordered to a pub/restaurant in central Umeå where a man is alleged to have assaulted another man. The patrol speaks with the parties involved. The suspected man is allowed to follow for a blood test as he is also suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. A report is drawn up regarding assault and minor narcotics offense (personal use).

00.57 Minor assault, Umeå:
Police patrol is ordered to central Umeå where there was a scuffle between three people outside a pub/restaurant. The patrol draws up a report regarding minor assault.

02.11 Drunk driving, Dorotea:
During a stop and check, a driver blows positively in the police's screening instrument and is allowed to follow for a blood test. A report is drawn up regarding drunk driving.

03.14 Disturbing behavior, Umeå:
Driver in central Umeå receives a fine for disorderly conduct for playing loud and disturbing music and for an excessive number of passengers.

03.30 Disturbing behavior, Vännäs:
Driver in Vännäs receives a fine for disorderly conduct for playing loud and disturbing music.

03.56 Drunk driving, Skellefteå:
Driver in Skellefteå blows positively in the police's screening instrument and is allowed to follow for a blood test. The driver cannot produce a valid driving license. A report is drawn up regarding gross drunk driving and unauthorized driving. In order for the driver, who is a foreign citizen, not to leave the country, he is arrested.

06.57 Wildlife accident, Skellefteå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a transport truck and a deer on E4, just south of Skellefteå. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a game warden is called out to take care of it.

Two people have been taken into custody for intoxication and one person has been taken in for a blood test after suspicion of narcotics offense.
